I’ve been enjoying the comical take on the voter approved gay marriage ban. The Onion figured out the reasons why people voted to pass Proposition 8.
Then there is this catchy tune. Why has the world turned so ugly? Well, it’s because the gays are getting married. Duh!
And nothing would be complete without a musical. Marc Shaiman, who wrote the music for Hairspray, created “Prop 8 – The Musical” for the website Funny or Die. It stars Jack Black, as Jesus Christ, and a few other actors I’m sure you’ll recognize.
i like the marc shaiman too– it made me laugh out loud because it’s so ridiculously ignorant. it just shows the celebrities are way out of touch with real life and real issues.

The shrimp / shellfish argument used in the video is full of holes but is appealing to many because so few bother to study the passages. I address five serious problems with it in flaws of the shellfish argument.
Did you notice how the sodomy depiction in the video involved a woman in back? It was as if they thought using a guy would be too gross. Seems kinda homophobic of them.
